Information for Applicants

Applications are only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).

The 2024 application deadline is May 1st. Interview dates have not yet been established but will be posted here.

Application and notification schedule recommended by SMFM is below:

• May 1, 2024—Deadline for applications to be included in the first notification 
• May 15, 2024—Single notification date for all interviews
• May 21, 2024—Initial deadline to accept or decline interviews

Eligibility for Fellowship

Prerequisites: Medical Degree, Completion of OB/GYN Residency, anticipated

Application Requirements

Application via the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) including:

• Three letters of recommendation
  • One letter from the Residency Program Director
  • Two other letters from people of the candidate's choosing
• Dean’s letter (MSPE)
• Medical school transcript
• Personal statement
• Photograph (optional)
• USMLE/COMLEX scores
