Located in the heart of Iowa City, our program with NAEC level 4 accreditation, serves as a regional and national hub for high quality epilepsy care, attracting patients from across the state and beyond.
Our fellowship program is a one-year ACGME accredited program with a high patient volume dedicated to providing a comprehensive and multifaceted training experience in the interpretation of all aspects of electroencephalogram (routine EEG, video EEG monitoring, intracranial EEG, ambulatory EEG) as well as clinical management of a wide spectrum of adult and pediatric epilepsy, enabling the fellows to graduate as proficient, well-rounded clinicians and educators ready to make a meaningful impact in the field of epilepsy. While working alongside the experienced epilepsy faculty, the fellows have access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources, enabling them to pursue research projects aligned with their interests.
