Why Iowa: Vascular neurology was the primary interest that motivated me to become a neurologist. As a resident at the University of Iowa, I had the opportunity to work with outstanding mentors who are leaders in stroke care and see firsthand the excellence of the stroke program.

Why Iowa: The neurology program at Iowa is one of the oldest in the country and the vascular neurology program has always been on the forefront of research and innovation. It's one of the busiest centers in the country. The faculty are known for being great mentors, educators, and leaders in the filed, and I'm looking forward to learn from them.
