I'm from Iowa and did my medical school here, so I was able to see firsthand the excellent patient care, teaching, and research opportunities that exist at UIHC. The choice became obvious when you pair the fantastic training opportunities with a lively, yet livable city like Iowa City. 

I'm keeping my options open in the field of neurology but my ideal job in the future would include inpatient, outpatient, and teaching responsibilities. 

Interests: Hanging out with my wife and 10-month-old son, cooking, woodworking, sports.
