Weekly Conferences

The fellow will attend a weekly 90-minute foot and ankle team conference. During the conference, 80 minutes is designated for case-based presentations with once a month journal club focus and research meeting. The final ten minutes is a didactic component presented by the fellow or team resident.

Some cases during the journal club will be designated as mock oral presentations to simulate Part II of the oral boards. Current projects will be reviewed by the team and for possible project improvement during the research meeting.

Orthopedic Conferences

The fellow will attend morning sign out/pass ons to identify foot and ankle trauma that could potentially lead the fellow to see in the OR. The fellow will also attend the department's basic science conferences as well as M&Ms and Grand Rounds.
