How to Apply

Trent Place in Clinic

We accept four positions for our main obgyn residency track and two for the rural residency for a total of six residents for 2023-2024.

Apply using the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) and register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

We welcome applicants who will graduate from qualified medical school programs in this country or abroad. Please note our eligibility criteria.

Your Application

If you are interested in applying to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program, applications are accepted through ERAS.

Application Requirements

  • Dean's letter

  • Two to three letters of recommendation from faculty

  • Official transcript of your grades from your medical school registrar

  • United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX) scores will be accepted.

  • Personal statement

These should be sent directly by the Dean's office via ERAS.

Application Review

Upon preliminary review of the completed application, applicants selected for personal interviews will be notified. Virtual interviews are required for full consideration and must be scheduled in advance (by invitation only).

Applicants are judged on academic record, professional background, personal qualities, recommendations, and interviews.

Applications are reviewed by a committee of faculty and present house staff and recommended to the departmental faculty for ranking to be submitted to the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
