Surgical instruments

The Independent Plastic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is designed to broadly educate trainees in the art and science of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The purpose of this training program is the development of highly competent, inquisitive and responsible Plastic Surgeons.  The training curriculum has been constructed to provide residents with the skills to be successful in any type of practice that he or she decides to pursue.

This program is a three year, ACGME accredited independent program that includes one resident in each year of training. The program provides comprehensive training with increasing responsibility in all aspects of Plastic Surgery.
