The goal of the Advanced Noninvasive Cardiac Imaging Fellowship Training Program is to train radiology and cardiovascular specialists in Advanced Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CCT). The one-year program consisting of 12 months training conducted at the University of Iowa, includes hands-on supervised clinical training, research, formal didactics, and interdisciplinary conferences to achieve level III competency in CMR and CCT. Teaching faculty include cardiologists and radiologists. Program comprises of 50% cardiac CT, 50% cardiac MRI; opportunities for clinical research in all modalities.
