I wanted to come to Iowa for the great stroke and neurointerventional program. Additionally, the research support available for residents places this program [in] a class above. 

My academic/clinical interests include Neurointervention, including stroke, aneurysm treatment, and interventional neuro-oncology.

Interests: For fun I enjoy going to the impressive university fitness centers. I particularly enjoy the well-equipped weight room and the rock-wall. Additionally, I have enjoyed visiting the trails near the lake with my wife. I also love eating, and Iowa City has plenty of restaurants and breweries to try out.
