Ever since I did my neurology elective in the Midwest prior to starting my residency I was always intrigued by the strong education and research institutions as well as the diverse range of beautiful landscapes. Fast foward to Fellowship, Sleep Medicine and University of Iowa was an easy pick given the ample research opportunities, comprehensive multidisciplinary approach and training under the finest faculty. Being one of the busiest hospitals in the state, I am convinced that the patient volume would be apt to finesse my training.
