I think residents here, no matter their interests and career goals, are able to become the neurologists they are meant to be in a supportive and friendly environment. This is aided by the fact that UIHC is a high-volume facility with a large catchment area, so we have the opportunity to master the basics and take care of patients with rarer pathology, as well.

I'd like to pursue a neurocritical care fellowship and enjoy doing research in this field and in vascular neurology.

Interests: Hanging out with my parakeet named Jiffy, collecting various scrub colors and matching shoes, and shooting hoops with friends.
