The University of Iowa's Department of Radiology residencies prepares physicians to excel as both clinicians and researchers, while providing a foundation for understanding new concepts and rapidly evolving technology. As one of the few tertiary care facilities in the region, our programs offer residents exposure to a broad range of clinical conditions. Our residents have constant interaction with subspecialists in all areas of radiology and nuclear medicine, exceptional educational opportunities, opportunities for research, and access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. We offer four residency program options:
- Diagnostic Radiology
- Diagnostic Radiology Residency Combined with Categorical Year
- Interventional Radiology - Integrated
- Nuclear Medicine
