Information for Applicants

The University of Iowa REI Fellowship Program is not currently accepting applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) but will be in 2026.  Those dates will be posted once they are available. 

Eligibility for Fellowship

Prerequisites:

• Medical degree
• Completion (or anticipated completion) of OB/GYN residency

Application Requirements

Application via the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS) including:

• Three letters of recommendation
  • One letter from the Residency Program Director
  • Two other letters from people of the candidate's choosing
• Dean’s letter (MSPE)
• Medical school transcript
• Personal statement
• Photograph (optional)
• USMLE/COMLEX scores
• CREOG scores (e-mailed to program coordinator)
