Iowa has a well-rounded AP and CP training and faculty are invested in teaching. Faculty and residents also seem to have a good work-life balance and there is a sense of camaraderie among residents.  

I’m currently most interested in surgical pathology. I’m also looking forward to getting more experience teaching during residency. I’m not sure yet about my research interests – I'm excited to learn more in residency about current areas of research at Iowa.  

I have a black cat named Cosmo and a French bulldog named Brewer. They’re not friends yet but I’m still holding out hope. My husband has turned me into a baseball fan – we’re always rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers. I’ve also been working on growing a vegetable garden.
