Nicole Becker, MD

I chose University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics pathology for the balanced AP/CP training program. Our faculty highly value the education of our residents and put a great effort in ensuring it meets those high standards as well. As well, the faculty, co-residents, and fellows are the best people and I could not have asked for a better group of people to work with during my residency. 

Career goals: I hope to work as a neuropathologist at an academic institution. I also have an interest in medical student and resident education.

Research interests: Neuropathology and surgical pathology

In my free time, I enjoy running and biking along the trails in Iowa City and surrounding areas, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with my husband and co-residents.
