Katie Reming, MD

I was initially interested in the University of Iowa because of its longstanding history of excellence in neurology, but what ultimately made me want to come here for training was how incredibly kind and down to earth everyone is—from the leadership to the attendings and residents. 

Career goals: In terms of career goals, I am keeping an open mind and look forward to exploring neurologic subspecialties further next year. 

Research interests: My professional and research interests include vascular neurology and neuropalliative care.

My interests outside of medicine include painting, yoga, and pretty much anything outdoors.
