I was looking for a program with strong AP and CP training, a variety of cases, an emphasis on collaboration, and a supportive learning environment.

Currently interested in specializing in surgical pathology but keeping an open mind. I am interested in medical education and foresee teaching being part of my career moving forward.

When a measuring tape comes out my husband knows a DIY home improvement project is in the works. We have two mini aussiedoodles that like to herd unsuspecting neighborhood children and whose favorite toy is whatever the other one has at the moment. I like to share my love of STEM at local community events on weekends. And my kids strap on their toolbelts, have the dogs wrapped around their little fingers, and tag along for all the weekend adventures!
