I chose the University of Iowa because several of my mentors trained here and were confident that I would receive the same great training as they experienced. I also chose the University of Iowa because of the friendly faculty, residents, and community in Iowa City. I am excited to receive quality training during my residency in a location that makes me feel at home. 

I am still quite undecided about my future career. My current interests include forensics, breast, GYN, and GI. I am also excited to learn more about how digital pathology and AI will change my practice. 

I love cooking, traveling, and playing games with my husband. I also collect oddities and articulate animal skeletons. We have one cat named Baby.
