Why Iowa
I chose Iowa because of its excellent reputation in pathology education and research, its supportive and collegial environment, and its diverse and challenging cases. I was impressed by the faculty’s expertise and enthusiasm, the residents’ camaraderie and satisfaction, and the opportunities for learning and growth.
Professional/Research Interests
Career: I’m interested in surgical pathology and becoming well-rounded in anatomic and clinical pathology. I value the importance of developing a solid foundation in both anatomic and clinical pathology, as they are essential for providing comprehensive and accurate diagnostic services and patient care in the community setting.
Research: My current areas of interest are surgical pathology, particularly head & neck and GI.
