Leonel Vasquez, MD, Clinical Associate Professor and Head of the Breast Imaging Division, has been appointed Vice Chair for Operations in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Vasquez has done an outstanding job building a very effective, patient-oriented team in Breast Imaging and brings a lot of experience as an effective leader/manager of radiology departments at several of Emory University's (where Dr. Vasquez worked before coming to the UI) community partner hospitals. Dr. Vasquez will be tasked with helping to make our clinical enterprise better for patients, referring physicians, faculty and technologists.
