Congratulations to The University of Iowa Radiation Sciences students Makensie Rich, Bailey Longnecker, and Karly Calvin, recipients of the 2023-24 Scot Heery Scholarship award! They are recognized for their work ethic and commitment to quality patient care that embodied Scot's career. The funding for these $5000 awards comes from a generous gift presented to the University of Iowa Center for Advancement in Scot’s name by an anonymous donor.

Scot Heery, RT(R)(CT), was a Senior Imaging Technologist in the Department of Radiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC).  He worked in the department for over 30 years prior to his passing, with expertise in Computed Tomography and dedication to excellence in patient care.
