New faces join eye clinic

The department gained two new eye care providers to coincide with the start of a new academic year.

Jennifer Ling, MDJennifer Ling, MD,  joined the Cornea, External and Refractive Surgery service as a clinical assistant professor. Her specialties include the treatment of cornea and external diseases, corneal transplantation and eye banking, and refractive and laser eye surgery. Dr. Ling received her fellowship training from the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center and completed residency training at the UC Davis Health System Eye Center. She sees patients in the main eye clinic and has a refractive surgery clinic at the UI Health Care – Iowa River Landing location.

Marcus NoyesThe Primary Eye Care and Contact Lens clinics added Marcus Noyes, OD, to the provider ranks as a clinical assistant professor. Dr. Noyes completed a dual residency in Cornea/Contact Lens and Ocular Disease at The Ohio State University Havener Eye Institute after receiving a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He sees patients in the main hospital eye clinic and UI Health Care – Iowa River Landing clinic location. 

Dr. Noyes shares, “New advancements in medicine and constantly improving technology allow for excellent eye care. Being at UIHC allows me to utilize the cutting edge of technology and provide top-level care to my patients.”
