Daniel Bettis, MD has joined the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences as an Clinical Assistant Professor with our Glaucoma service. Dr. Bettis recently completed his Glaucoma Fellowship at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. He specializes in glaucoma, cataract surgery, complex anterior segment surgery, and lens implant surgery. Special interests include new medical and surgical treatments for glaucoma including minimally-invasive glaucoma surgery.

He provides medical and surgical glaucoma care at UI Hospitals and Clinics eye clinic and at UI Health Care - Iowa River Landing clinic in Coralville, as well as the Iowa City VA Medical Center.
