How to Apply

This year, ACEPS is strongly encouraging all programs to use CentralApp for integrated residency applications. CentralApp is a low-cost, plastic surgery-specific application crafted to both improve the residency application process and to decrease financial barriers to students. Although some plastic surgery programs still accept ERAS, our program is only using CentralApp. You may use this link to access CentalApp: https://psca.accessgme.com/

Upon accessing the application, you will be instructed to create a secure account and will be able to request letters of recommendation, transcripts, and MDPE (Dean's Letters) directly through the application portal. As in year prior the match will remain with National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Please direct questions about the application to PSCA@accessgme.com

We follow the application process determined by ACEPS. For more information on deadlines and what to expect please visit the Med Student Resources page on the ACEPS website.

Application FAQs

Do you have a USMLE Score Minimum?

We prefer scores >215, but we do not have an absolute cutoff. Applicants who have previous failures on the USMLE are generally less likely to successfully match in our program. Completion of Step 2 is preferred. All applications are thorougly reviewed and one score will not filter an application out.

Do you have a medical school graduation cut off?

Applicants who graduated more than 5 years ago are generally less likely to successfully match in our residency program.

Do you require U.S. Clinical Experience?

U.S. clinical experience is not an absolute requirement, however it is highly encouraged.

Do you offer observerships or externships to medical school graduates?

No, we do not offer observerships or externships if you have already graduated medical school.
